| I like the restricted depth of field, but the leaf at left is unfortunately in the plane of sharp focus ... I think it would look better if it were blurred. |

What a nice find! I like the various tones of green in this.
One thing I find pulling my attention away from the subject is the clarity and sharpness of the dark green leaf. Because of the funnel that the insect is in only part of it is clearly in focus...then you have this large flat area to the left that is all in focus. A consideration may have been to select that area and apply a light gaussian blur to minimize the distration.
All JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge. |

| The greens in this photo stands out very nicely. You have to look for the subject, which is well placed. The lines in this picture help guide your eye all the way through. |

| If you would have cropped off the left half of the image and a little at the top (get rid of the non-green area), I could have given this a solid 7 score. As is, the composition is weakened by the many distractions like the bright spots and the water drops. Cropping would also have given you a lot more room to manipulate the contrast in post processing. |

| The tow large leaves balance out the photophoto but the clarity of the light leaf brings the picture down. |

| Good photo and goes well with the challenge. Though if your main object is the bug it is kind of blury. good lines. |
