| Out of focus or fuzzy (try unsharpen mask) and the glove is a horrible touch. A crisp clear shot on a branch would have done well. |

| Its pretty cool. Would have been better if you could have made it sharper.... perhaps on a white background. |

| Pretty bird and good idea. Maybe try upping the contrast to make the background white and to bring out the colors of the bird. The focus on the hand is good, but the bird's head is blurry, and I'd rather have a clear focus on the bird than the glove. I like the way you cropped it and didn't center the bird vertically. Score: 4 |

| Focus is off or this image is so heavily cropped that the resolution is lacking. Considerable noise detracts from the image. The gloved hand adds absolutely nothing to the interest of the bird and just detracts from the beauty of the animal. The subject fits the challenge description, but the lighting and position of the bird's head is uninteresting. |

| What a pretty bird. I really like your picture, think it would be even better if it was in better focus. Also, I think it would be nicer if the hand didn't have the orange glove on it - that way all the color would be in the bird and the orange glove wouldn't detract from the bird which should be the main subject of the picture. |

| Lighting seems dim and the focus is soft. I also find the hand distracting. I think the idea of the bird is good if you could have caught him on something else. |

| This would be improved if the bird's head were in focus, rather than the glove. Since the glove is orange, you may have wanted it to be the focal point of your picture, specifically, but as a general photographic rule, anything with eyes should normally have the eyes in focus. The viewer's eye is naturally drawn there. |

| I like the position the bird is in and all, but this pic needs a little more light and a little more focus in my opinion. |

| the background could be better..another color perhaps, or a texture. The bird seems a bit soft, lacking in sharp detial on the feathers of the heard. More USM perhaps. |
