excellent composition. very sophisticated with lots of energy, even though your subject is calm. The tension between subject and composition is perfect.

That's a shocking blue eye! Pretty puppy dog. Nice pose with him looking over his shoulder like that.

Marvelously stark yet warm. I love the composition and the pose. If I knew how to explain the blue fringing, I would, but I'm not sure what causes it (ask after the challenge in a forum thread if you want to find out - someone will know.)

I have to give you an extra point for giving that dog such a kick A name. Of course it isn't spelled like John's, but that's ok. ;~) The light to the right is a touch bright, but I love his smiling expression.
