Charlie is new to our home. We have never shared our home with a dog before. Charlie has shown us a whole new world and way of life. Bringing me back into nature. I look forward to learning lots from all of the enteries here on DPChallenge. And tons of fun!! :o)

hey allana .. congrats on the 'new' dog ... altho you'd'v had him a year now .. !!
its a great portrait and i hope you're enjoying having charlie in your life .. i've nearly always had a dog and just love having them around .. all such different personalities .. all so beautiful ..

Very creative photo. I am trying to figure out where his body is. Good color, great idea, good use of wide angle distortion.

Composition: I think the tight crop at the top detracts from the photo. Showing his full face would have helped alot.

Focus: The eyes are in focus which is very important. But the nose is not in focus and that takes away.

Background. The white background makes for an interesting composition, but I think the image needs some more breathing room all the way around. A very simple (brown?) border would have helped frame the background and complete the photo.

But still, a very creative photo.

I think that the cropping is too tight on the vertical. I would have liked to see his entire head and a little less white at the sides.
