Hi Margie :)
This shot has a wonderful warmth and energy about it. You did a great job with the lighting, I like the gradient in the background. Thanks for the honorable mention, really appreciate it. Glad you where inspired to give this a try and with your own unique twist.
Oh and, congratulations on placing so well. This was a really tough challenge.

This is clever and unique and I like it overall. The reflection of the bulb base is distracting...a non-reflective surface may have been better IMO. Probably getting dinged a bit on the "horizon" seam not being straight (shot at an angle to the bg, instead of straight on?).

well this is a clever shot. one of my favorite flowers too. love the warmth that is coming out of the this shot, the yellows are not bright and in your face but rather a soothing warm tone, great job |

Ok now this is freaking me out!
Tiny daffodils, massive bulb or perspective trick. And how did you get it in their if you did!?
Anyway great pic. I want a load of these for my desk and as a mothers day gift. I will plunge my house into darkness to work it out. |
