 My roommates female California Kingsnake Zipper. She is a little bit of a handful so I had to have him help me out.
I recently purchased a light tent so decided to give it a shot for this challenge.
I thought about doing a tighter crop on just the front half of her body, but ultimately decided I liked the full body shot better.
Editing - crop/resize
auto color
adjusted white layer in selective color
some slight cloning along the tile edges

creepy snake... nice photo. Very clean and well composed. The lighting is the only thing that seems a bit flat to me.

I like the image. Fits the challenge well. Still get the feeling there is a little color. But this is a tough challenge in that regard. I gave it a 7.

Great subject! I love the reflection. I'd like a little more depth of field and I think I'd like it better on a fully black backround, i.e. all tiles no white. Very nice shot.
