wonderful lighting and composition (would have been a ribbon selection except for the metal thing that breaks the Parallel lines) as presented -- one of my favorites this time around

A nice peaceful study. The fence, turning a corner just before it reaches the right of the picture is well-placed and the finials on the fence-posts give it some character.

The title doesn't do this nice image justice, but the parallel lines are perfect for the Challenge.

I really love this image - the colours, the time of day, the composition. My only suggestion - and this is ONLY so it suits the intent of teh challenge - is that maybe take the image from a slightly different point of view - maybe with the camera on macro mode and sitting right next to the fence, or laying on the ground looking up at the fence and house. This would mean the parallel lines are the subject, instead of something that balances the overallcomposition. HOwever, I really like theimage and I hope you do well. Good luck!
