I feel bad cuz this wasn't orginally ment to be in black and white, but i think it came out good.

Shooting for a client, first time doing a black and white like this. converted to 32bit/chan. then back 16bit/chan. to get an hdr-like feel.

awesome model, alot of fun to work with.

Not sure seeing you in the glasses is a good thing Chris? (not a dig at your looks of course lol). I too would like to see her eyes and agree she is a beautiful model that seems at ease in front of a camera.

If she was musician, I would see this as one of the photos on the inside of the cover, with liner notes written all over it. I like the deep blacks in the eyes.

Great portrait and well done in b&w. Her pose is great and I love the glasses, nicely done!

I like how she's toying with the camera, as if to say, "I dare you take the shot." It would be nice to see a bit more in the deep blacks; I'm getting mostly pure black in a lot of areas.

A mysterious woman - even with the shades off, you can't see her eyes. You may have dodged the whites a bit - if you did, it may be a bit much. The background doesn't bother me. In fact I kinda like the elbow in there. Of course, the use or not of the background would depend a great deal on what your client wants.

Overall I really like this image, she is a beautiful model and you have done her justice. I am a bit bothered by her eyes, I wish I could see them better, its almost like she is hiding behind a mask.

Yes, she is an awesome model. She looks like she enjoys the heck out of the camera. She kind of reminds me of photos I've seen of MAK's wife. Very pretty! And a very dramatic subject for a black and white photo.

You captured a good expression on her face and the crop puts her in a good place in the image.Three things bother me. First I find the background a bit busy. The elbow intrudes on the image and the dark hair and the dark background behind her don't mix well for me. Second I would like to see a bit more of her eyes. This hidden eyes work well, they are just a bit too dark for me. Third, it looks like here forehead is a bit over sharpened - or perhaps it need a bit of a blur to smooth it out a bit.
