Wow! 4th...I'll take it!!! Thanks for all the votes and comments. For all those wondering how this was done here is how i did it:
I bought zippo lighter fluid and poured it onto the pepper before lighting. There is a wire holding up the pepper on fire that was cloned out of the top of the flame using PS. Easy as that!

The flame adds variety to the all red theme, and is nicely captured. The colors in the flame pop against the red background. |

i hope you put the shutter speed and all in the discription, im intrested in knowing how to do this. ive tried in the past and got zero good photos

This would have been a stronger image for me without the peppers on the bottom - they are a little too soft for me and the glare is a bit distracting. |
