 Simple setup on white paper with a softbox in the front and two side lights/umbrellas lighting the back. I also used a very soft light directly above to provide a shadow to anchor the shot.

The light from above to create an anchoring shadow makes this work much better than just a shot against flat white. Very good use of light, great pose from your model, and good name for a pet! :-)

Awe, she really is smiling! What a cute puppy. I find that the white background detracts from the nice lines that the dog has.

It looks like your focal point was at the tag instead of on the face.

The focus seems to be on her collar, a pity because it might have been stronger on her eye... A very sweet portrait.
