 This is my neighbor's dog, Maurice. His name is not really Maurice - it's something obscure that I don't like, so I call him Maurice and he seems to know I mean him.

When I tried to photograph him yesterday, he got very excited and wiggled around a lot, so I got a shadow on his sweet face, but you get the picture. I'm actually reflected in his (picture) right eye.


I'm going to use this same photo for the overlay side, just wanted to post the "pure" version here first.

So often this is the only POV they let you get - it's good enuf for them (look, Maurice likes it, Here I am just as I am, he says), it should be ok with us. Why not a challenge of doggie shots from just this angle?

Well hello, Maurice! What a beautiful dog face you have. So sharp and clear, and I don't mind the shadow at all. That flooring creates a great background for this shot.

I like the lighting even though there are shadows on his face. It seems so warm.

his eyes adore you, even if you call him the wrong man's name. hehehe I think that's a country music sog somewhere...his face is really well done and your lighting is great too!

great shot alicia .. it looks like he's quite taken with you .. probably coz of the name thing .. he'd make a very nice subject in the current pet portrait if he stays still long enough .. if you tell him about dpc and how famous he could become he might strike some very handsome poses !!!..:)..
