Oh my goodness she does look like a little princess. Such a sweet face. I love that her head is tilted to one side. I just want to give her a big hug cuz she's so cute. She is very lucky that you found her and brought her home. Kudos! (oops - congrats on the top 10 too! yay!)

Congratulations on the top ten finish.
A real 'classic' pet portrait that I could imagine sitting in the front window of a photography studio for passers by to see and admire
Very clever composition and the low key really helps to accentuate the strength of colours in Milly Grace's fur. Added to which there is a softness that seems empathetic with the personality of the dof
As usual focus and dof bang on to the millimeter

| Beautiful dog, great expression. I think the lighting really helps you here with a nice soft sheen to her coat and just enough to give a perfect black on black exposure. Cute dog, but very well done shot. |

| She's straight out of a story book. There are soooo many great pictures in this challenge, but so far (71 of 261 voted), this is my favorite. It's the eyes that get to me the most. Very nice pose and composition. She looks like a very sweet dog. |

| Beautiful face; she looks very, very sweet. DOF, pose and crop are great. Overall nice job on the lighting; nit - the bright catchlights in her eyes don't match in placement or brightness or softness, and there is a faint catchlight in the pupil on the right which gives it roundness not present in the other pupil. It took me a sec to realize what was bugging me about the eyes. |
