Here is the same crop but in color. The brown water and flat color of the trees just don't do anything for me.

Interesting location, the huge trees standing in the water makes a good backdrop. I guess it's a little less peaceful for the guy as he's doing all the work ;)

Looks like it is straight out of an old movie! Love the composition and a black and white medium was a good idea. Love the vertical lines of the trees but it almost draws my eye away from the subject instead of to.

I'm not particularly keen of the woman's pose...
Maybe have her look more serene instaed of staring the man down?
