Thank you all for your encouraging and helpful comments and votes. I was on a retreat with a church and I went wandering around after a long day of giving Praise to God and was looking for a peaceful scene in all the snow. I heard peaceful running water and came across this man-made fountain. There were many peaceful scenes that God created, but with my limited skill at "night snow covered landscape photography", this fountain was a Gift.

After a couple of hours in the snow in tennis shoes, I didn't really get the shot I desired and had to crop out much of interest. Each fall in the fountain has an incandescent accent light behind it. The third one above the photo was bright and blown out.

I sharpened, cropped, shifted the hue to a bluish tint, lowered saturation and applied noise removal. That sounds awfully simple...perhaps more or less blue, sharper or softer...who knows, I tried many combos. I am very happy with the score and comments. Thank you and God Bless you and your family.

Even though there's something about this image that just doesnt seem right, I'm going to up my vote. It feels very surreal and I can see where you were going with it. Looking at it closer it feels like a dream! You get an 8 from me!

Nice use of long exposure, very abstract feel given the crop.

I like the way the snow frames the bottom of the shot

Nice glow. Is this a man made construct with lights in it? The composition tends to just lead my eye straight up and down. Something to lead my eye around the frame may have bee a touch better. Overall, I like it though.

are you sure this was done under basic editing?

You've created a very unique photo here. Love the blues in the water. The snow in the bottom of the photo frames it nicely. Very cool look.

Absolutely fantastic, the way you blurred the falling water creates such an appropriate mood. 10
