 Not much processing at all with this one. Brightened a little in DPP RAW conversion, a very small curves adjustment, slight crop, USM, image size and save for web.

this was taken specifically for the challenge, and I was pleased that I retained the translusence in the wing and tail feathers, which was my aim when taking the photo.

This is an absolutely wonderful white on white shot. Had you planned on a white on white shot? You should be very happy with how it turned out. I agree with all your comments and those of the rest of the reviewers.

I would have preferred seeing the bird flying into frame instead of out of frame, but that is a trivial difference. In any event, it is head an shoulders above anything I ever produced.

Textbook Dove=Peace shot but I mean that in a good way. Excellent well lit shot with the translucent look of the feathers captured beautifully.

Yup no doubt there are some that will say that this is 'too obvious' but hey so what. It meets the challenge perfectly and has been absolutely excellently delivered. Love the high key background which amazingly does not detract from the wonderful sharpness of the dove.

Great composition. Terrific image bumping to 10 and my own personal favourite in the challenge

Aptly fits the challenge, especially the all white, the light through the wings is nice, but the bird seems a bit soft IMO, hard to make out the details in the head area

Can't get anything that represents peace more than a dove! Nice comp, some more contrast would work, but that's going to be tough with white on white and basic editing rules.

I like this picture but the background is kind of plain, maybe have a real sky with clouds.

Is this the white dove of peace? Even if it is really a white pigeon, the white color gives it a stronger connection to peace than most of the other bird shots.
