 I like the strong diagonal line of the stem combined with the supporting lines of the attached leaves. Tried to improve on Mother Nature by changing it from green to purple. Mmmmm?

Very nice composition. However, I wonder about the spots. Dead pixels? These could be easily fixed with cloning (which I know you couldn't do for this competition). Good job.
