 This beautiful vortex can often be found in a small stream in Heidmork. The weather was dull and gray this day so the blue color comes from a Hue/Sat/Light-layer. Contrast was enhanced with a Levels-layer. Crop, resize, frame and gentle USM.

Excellent shot. I like the fact that you used spirals for lines. They all lead to your black hole. Nice interpretation of the challenge!

I find the reflections on the water to be distracting. My eye keeps jumping from the hole to the area in the lower left

I like your DOF used in this shot, would have liked the actual hole to be shifted to the right just a tad more to make better use of the rule of thirds. Nice lighting overall.
