Taken at St John's Cathedral brisbane. It's an amazing building, and a joy to photograph. This is the most recent, and probably the last cathedral to be built in the traditional style, and is the only completely stone-vaulted ceiling in the southern hemisphere.
This is the altar of one of the side-chapels. The stained glass windows are blown, but there's little I could do about that (OK, yes, I could have waited for late afternoon/dusk, but I couldn't stick around that long.) The ceiling is flash lit, gelled tungsten, but not quite as orange as the existing lighting. However, I like the contrasted colours. If I shot it again, I'd only half CTO the flash.
Editing was a slight straighten, boost the blues and yellows, crop, resize, USM and border.

| I like that you have used the height here. Interiors like this are difficult to capture well and the windows have suffered here but I like the shadows ont eh stonework. |

| Some people may have no idea how difficult this sort of shot can be, capturing the dark interior without blowing out details in the stained glass too much. I might call this ever so slightly overexposed, just my preference though. |
