B&W would do wonders to this image. Some clone out in the fingernails would clear that distracting red noise (Ops! for a moment I forgot this is Basic Editing!). Anyway a great shot full of meaning |

Lovely sentiment, I just find the remains of nail varnish on the pale hand a bit distracting |

This is a nice photograph that creates a good diagoanl line but whatever the colored stuff on the kids nails is distracting and adds unwanted color to the picture. |

Nice idea. Very "Benetton" (sp?) |

Nicely done; point comes across even without the title. |

I like the idea, but not very original. In fact, this is the second one i've seen just like this in this challenge. |

Very nice. I like the diagonal composition. The color seems a bit off--might be a white-balance problem. |

Very, very nice composition. I really the like the diagonal orientation. I would like to see the white fingers more in focus, especially the index finger. |

Interesting take, nicely lit. Might have expected to see this type of shot as a softer B&W treatment but this works too. |

Sometimes keeping it simple is the best. Very nicely done. I like how you not only took the black and white approach, but also the young and old(er) approach. Very well executed. Nice use of space, great sharpness, nice lighting. |

I like the photo, it's really well done. Execition is near perfect.
I will say, however, that I find the concept a bit trite and self-serving. It's just too stereotypical for me to go "oooh that is deep".
Still, I do like the photo, minus the race card. |

The skin tones appear overly red to me - I'd look at Selective colour Red and play around with the Black - or even Hue/Saturation Red. That's if you use photoshop. |
