I think it's really neat that the owner of this brown ribbon now has several high scoring entries and ribbons.

I think the hardest part about this photo was trying to get enough texture and sharpness while keeping it soft. I could have used a toilet paper with more of a pattern, but I chose this brown ribbon partly because it meant I had everything I needed to do the photo right here, and I'm not sure it would've given the same effect anyway. The only other thing I'm noticing right now is that I wish the top roll were farther right. We'll see what the voters think.

I love this, it's the perfect white on white and is, as Oliver says, sooo difficult to get. WTG, Amanda. Congrats on top 10.

Congrats on your top 10 finish, but should definitely have ribboned. Obviously voters can't imagine how dificult these shots are

Haha... I read this in my email and was confused until I clicked in here and realized you're referring to the original... (sorry, ditz moment)... =)

excellent and more! I once tried to shoot toilet paper rolls, but miserably failed. this is great, only nitpick would be the crumples in the leaf bottom right. 10
