 Shot in the North Tower staircase in Ely Cathedral. There are a lot of steps up there!

Shot looking up, had a couple looking down but I like the lines in this one better. Sadly the iso 1600 lets it down on quality but options were rather limited in this location and composition is nice enough if not especially original :)

Debated doing a grainy B&W version but I like the warmness of the colour here. Little Neat Image to take the edge off but didn't want to lose the texture of the stone. USM and save for web.

Something about this makes me so dizzy and disoriented! Seriously, I had to look away a few times before I figured out which way was up! I guess pulling me in that far is effective in one way, but the final effect is not pleasant. I'm sure it's just me though.

Normally the lines created by the stairs really wouldn't work as leading lines but the interesting texture of the wall makes this one work. Nice.

Something about the lighting on the left makes it look a bit off - it interrupts the lovely spiral you have going on to the right and the top. I love these shots, though!

Took me a while to figure out what I was looking at. Once I did I liked it. The cord along the bottom is distracting.
