 I really like this picture. Still, I suspect it will be in the mid 5 range with some comments about being too dark, perhaps over processed, and someone is bound to not like the top f-hole being truncated. There are also some distracting spots I couldn't fix under basic rules. I'm happy with the overall composition & hope people enjoy it.

I really appreciate the comments on this one. The hardest part of it was keeping the body properly exposed without blowing out the bridge. I blocked light going to the bridge and used selective colors globally to better balance things out (which I was afraid might be too noticable for the don't over-proces crowd). Wish I had done this for the 'tilted' challenge that just opened.

The character in this shot is incredible. You captured the essence of this instrument beautifully. I feel as if I can reach out and feel the wood and if I sit back, I could actually here the timbre of this viola. Extremely well done. This is a favorite -- 10!!!!!!!!!

it's not really enough leading lines for me, maybe get more of the strings but using a different angle...
