Really nice shot. Others have said it and I will too, the title really makes this one. Hope you were not too close! |

hehe, I think its funny that commenters mention the kangaroo (singular) in the background though to be honest if I'd not read your comment Murray I may not have spotted the third Kangaroo either ;)
The front 'roo is just a little over exposed for my liking. I do love the fact he is listening both to his left and keeping one ear on you (just in case).
Its also nice to see that although your lens is built for macro work you understand its a much more versatile lens than most people think! |

Sweet. DOF makes this a storybook with the border of grasses/weeds in front and hillside beyond. |

Looks like he was posing for you, love the Kangaroo in the background, almost looks like a mirror of the front kangaroo. |

Kangaroos are one of the coolest looking animals and you have a nice capture of this guy. You must have been able to get fairly close even with all of them standing guard like that. |

I can't get my mind around how cool it would be to come across these animals in the wild. This is a good one. They have the cutest faces!

Cool shot! The one nearest us looks like a bouncer at a bar..."You want to see Joey? Let me see your invitation! No one sees Joey without an invitation!" :) |

Cool capture! I like the tall weed next to the foreground 'roo that echos the stance. |

i realy like the one in the backround, almost looks like he is mirrored. i disagree with nikolaos, i think DOF is spot on, if that second one was more in focus it would take away from the first one. it makes you take a moment and look at the image. |

Funny little animal, I would like to see the second more in focus since is getting lost in the grass, but, I suppose that is their goal. :)

The composition is great, and I really like the conversion to black and white. Loads of details and textures as well (fur, grasses, background). I especially like the one lone stalk of something also keeping watch. |
