 We had about 3 inches of snow and 1 inch of ice fall Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning. The ice on the trees made them look pretty in the light, but it wasn't very relaxing driving on the ice. Shut our schools down for 4 days.

Seems kind of like just a snapshot, though I can see some good effort to compose and frame the scene. Maybe it's just a bit too busy for an element to really stand out.

Nice framing effect of the foreground tree on the right, cropping the upper half of the image would have emphasized the colors of the central trees, could have gone either way, OK as is too

Just a snowy backyard shot. Doesn't convey peace to me.

This is a great picture with the colors and bright white branches. Maybe a different perspective could help.

I really like the contrasts among the trees in size, form, and color. It is a peaceful scene but that aspect is not strong for me.

It's just that the tree on the right looks so much like a grasping claw...
