Hmmm... 10 10's, 10 9's... my personal best to date. 16 out of 147. But it's not so much about the judging and competition and numbers for me (I have to keep reminding myself) as in the experience and the learning. I suppose the numbers help give me a good indication as to whether I'm making some progress in my learning curve, though, so a valid process. Thanks for all the very nice comments -- and, yes, scores -- on this one! Peace!

Great subject, I like the mottled pattern of the feather and the blue of the sky gives it an airy, positive feel.

This photograpgh is very peaceful. It's a simple idea, but still taken very well. The lines leads the viewers eyes and moves them around the image.

I really like this image, but I think it would have been better on a sky that wasn't cloudy, but I know this might not have been an option.
