 Had an idea for bread but then got an email from Santa Pod saying the had a RWYB (run what ya brung) day on their 1/4 mile drag strip - all cars were street legal though I had hoped to see the resident rocket car.

I learnt panning was not quite as simple as first thought and as the speed wasn't constant what worked with one shot was a mess with the next.

All the images of the day were shot in JPEG and when I eventually remembered switched the IS to #2 lol

A very nicely taken shot, the movement is very bold and obvious, giving a very distinct look of speed.

This is a good job of panning. I like the fact that you were able to use an interesting car rather than a 1984 chevy or a saturn.

very nice framing, and the white car and line work very well against the grey background. very obviously used panning here, and this shot took some skill!
