I like your bravery to make a grainy photograph - shows your artistic side.
I don't like how I tend to look up the child's nose. Nice soft eyes. |

Love this portrait - the graininess, monochrome, framing, everything - the look on his face. - 8 |

I like the expression captured. I like the grainy presentation, but its too grainy. Goes over the edge to become distracting. |

A great capture of the subject's personality - something every portrait should strive to do. I like the tones and the lighting. |

This photo makes me look again and again. It has a very old time charm too it. It almost looks like it was a painting of some sorts from old times. I would like to see it a bit brighter, but overall.... wonderful! |

This conveys so much in both pose and expression - boredom, resigned patience, weariness... this is a lovely portrait and has a timeless feel - even without the grain it could be an old photograph of a boy who ran with his friends in the streets 20 years ago, 50 years ago, 100 years ago or more. Excellent! |

Grain works for this portrait very well indeed. The low contrast sets the mood, which complements the pose. I like the tilted pose which makes a nicle balanced composition. |
