Thanks to all those who 'got' this picture - my best score yet!
To explain to those who queried/doubted...
There are no shadows in this picture at all, practically the whole thing start to finish is a reflection. The sole exceptions being the mist at the bottom (very subtle, you need to look close) and the downward pointing reeds on the right (I turned the scene upside down to make it look more 'normal). The upward pointing ones are of course their reflection and hence are broken by the ripple. The ripple itself was caused by a Greeb I was actually trying to shoot diving underwater just a little too soon!
Nards, The 'washed out center portion' is the rising sun! It was very much supposed to be there it being the 'Morning' part of the title. Oh well, nevermind.
I would like to know why five people gave me a 1 or 2, though. I mean, come on it may not be a perfect picture but it's surely not THAT bad!
Anyway, I liked this shot and it seems quite a few others did as well. So I'm happy :-). |

This evokes a placid feel that appeals to me. Similar to my own submission. |

Great colours and feeling. Would love the circle in the surface to be in the clear area on the left! But don't know if you threw a pebble in to make that or whether it was natural... Very calming. Kavey |

Very pretty. The water rings put perspective on the reflection that had fooled me at first. |

simply awesome...the water rippling was a TERRIFIC idea as it provides the 'hint' of reflection, yet it's not distracting. it seems a bit blurry, could be the compression...good luck- 9- zadore |

This is a great photo, but I missed the rings in the upper corner until after I had already voted. At first viewing, I thought it wasn't a reflection. |

This is probably my favorite of the water shots. That one ripple is perfect. I like the grass as well and the warm colors. Nice job. |

I really like this shot. The ripples at the top are really what makes it in my mind. Was that an accident. Nice color and good reflection. DPz |
