 This is a picture of my wife in the front yard on a sunny day in Arizona. Yes it is March and feeling good!

I hope that this picture does well for my first one entered with my Rebel.

Nice colours and mood. In my opinion it would be even better if the top of the hat wasn't tangent to the frame edge.

Looks like early morning or late afternoon lighting here. a little bright area on the nose. I think softening this photo up would make her skin alot smoother and "flatter" the subject more. On close inspection, the right upper corner has painting circles. Blur those up a bit, so they are not as noticable.

A mix of available light and another source - maybe not but the effect of the burnishing on the ahi is nice. The absence of shadows is good, as is the control of DoF. Maybe a crop from the left to the shoulder would work too?

I would have preferred her looking at the camera. Colors and focus are nice.
