Today it was 77 degrees - really nice - still some coolness in the air. I had the balcony door open and when the sun got lower, it illuminated my sewing table.

I just liked the light and thought I'd share. What do I sew? My clothes, theatrical costumes, arty things. My grandmother was a big sewing artist, and like her, I use no patterns. So I'm not good at making "normal" stuff.

The thing on the right is a stool made of red leather. It's good for your back when you sit a long time.

I'm still sick, by the way - 100 degrees fever - it's not budging.

The light illuminates that so well, and certainly it's enhanced by your processing. To me the chair is a slight distraction, but it's part of your slice of life and belongs there. It's cool to see people sew these days.

The light is incredible here. You have quite the creative life. It is great to peak into the lives of people in this challenge and see what's a bit more personal about them. I hope your fever breaks soon.

The lighting is rather nice. I like how it illuminates the red scissors on the table.

Hopefully the fever will go away soon. Luckily we have a different measurement system about degrees. With 100 degrees (for me) I wouldn't be able to type anything (forever). About the photo: Although I stopped with my drawing and painting lessons, I always hated this kind of stuff. Still, a nice photo! And if you're feeling better (hopefully after some days from now), give it a try in B&W, it always gives a special effect with this kind of light.

light looks really good and the illumination of the the scissors' handles & its reflections on the sewing machine..

hmm, this is 2nd time in a month you been sick eh Alicia? you are lucky to be able to lay in the sunshine, get the Vit C and the warm air on your face. Fever is your body fighting something bad..I'd guess viral. try advil or tylenol..both great for getting the temp down, although they wont touch the source of the fever..course, if you're taking the temp as you're lying in the sun, that could be it! :)

hope you're better soon!
