Shot with 2nd curtain flash after tracking the walker over the dramatically lit pavement at Broadgate.

Totally give up on figuring this out, but it seems to point to a brand new world of city commuters wading through light.

Surprised this wasn't in the top 10. When I first saw it, it grabbed my eye, pulled me in and I wanted to travel to this moment.

I'm honestly a bit confused on this one. The motion is clear, but the man's shadow is extremely strange and I can only guess at what's producing the purple light. Those are some very long lines of motion.

The overall composition is very interesting. I like the repeating patterns and the yellows in the upper third contrasting the bottom 2/3. Fascinating picture. I look forward to seeing more about this one, but I'm going to keep coming back to see if I have an a-ha moment about the elements involved here.

I'm trying to figure out what that purple is. and I'm trying out how to do this within basic rules. ignoring that, the purple and yellow do complement each other. overall, though, the shot just doesn't appeal to me (just a reaction, I know, not a critique).

What a strange and unique effect. The background definitely conveys motion. Would like to see the guy in green a walking into the photo as opposed to out of it. Still can't figure out what the purple lines are and why they are at knee level.
