 Back to the wharf. This guy just sat there and let people come take his picture -- no fear of humans whatsoever. I almost expected him to have his partner pass the hat for tips.

Absolutely superb lighting and detail. I wish I could find a bird to do that for me. I would even drop a little tip in there hat...lol

OMG .. this is so brilliant .. as a thumb i couldnt tell wot it was in the second i looked at it .. on opening it was such a delight .. beautiful colours ... a wonderful 'posture' .. perfect in every way .. :)

Amazing colours in this bird. The pelicans over here are all B&W with a light pink beak, black eyes and a bright yellow ring around the eye. I have never seen a pelican this colour. Brilliant shot to get such detail in the feathers and eye.
