I don't mind the blurry foreground but a lot of people do find it distracting. In a lot of cases, to me, it supports the rest of the shot by moving the attention to the sharper areas, but that doesn't work for everyone. I'm always fascinated by reflections in puddles but find it's really quite hard to capture that fascination well. |

I agree this does have graet colors and potential.
My attempt turned the water into an impressionistic look, so I didn't enter it. The sun wasn't being fiendly either, maybe I should've tried a fill in flash. |

I love the colors! I think that maybe a different crop would work wonders. The foreground is really blurry. Maybe crop that off? End result might be a nicer horizontal composition. It would even bring the reflection out more as well as the nice lines and curves at the top of the photograph. |
