 I had several ideas for the 'Reflections without mirrors' competition, but this was (what I expected, the voters) favorite picture I came up with. This photo was taken in Ghent, Belgium, and is looking down into the water of the castle's moat. It is a pretty cool castle, and I think this is a neat shot of it.

very interested shot nice contrast and color nice over all shot I would have put the photo in black & White to show the tones and contrast from Castle thanks for the comment

It looks like there's purple in the bricks. The composition is very nice, although I might like to see a bit more contrast and possibly color adjustment. Looks like an interesting spot!

Would have had more impact with me if the reflection colors were cranked up a touch more, but it's still a solid 6 with me.

I do like your choice of perspective - makes the castle seem more inviting and warm in its reflection than in its reality.
