 Shot handheld. Elevated an off-white picture frame on a red foam poster board by about 5 inches. Took two wooden dowels and pierced the bread through the foam board keeping one end of the loaf lower than the other thereby making the bread extend out and past the white frame. Lit with two standard lamps from the top and bottom and diffused it with a white, stretchy sheer type fabric.(I really need to get that lighting kit!) No "software" vignette was added in the making of this photo(other than the natural one created from the lighting).

PP was fairly simple. Rotated, adjusted brightness, shadows, contrast, desaturated yellows a bit, levels, usm, cropped, added border, and resized.

Nice idea, but I think it would work better if the entire loaf were in sharp focus.

The matte looks a little fuzzy to me. Nice 3D feel. Certainly not a flat image.

Not sure I like the coming out of the frame gimmick, but a clear photo, good colours. 7 as is, 8 if it weren't coming out of the frame.

Nice picture - don´t really understand why you did not have all of it in focus BUT I like the frame you made and the crisp color... bumping from 6 to 7 :o)

Love the contrast you created between the bread and the background and then continue to build it up by working the bright and darker parts of the bread. Nice touch btw with your frame.
