Lighting and composition is good... I like the look on his face, this makes the photo emotive. Nice work. :-)

Aw, poor little guy- he just looks so sad- I love the photo- If I had to pick out something I'd say the logo on the shirts a little distracting but otherwise I love it- the b&w's awesome- 9!

nice lighting and background. his eye direction takes away from the overall feel of the shot. same expression looking directly at the camera would have a greater impact.

technically a well done shot...he doesn't look real happy about having his picture taken

Nice shot, B&W is a good choice here. As he's looking to his left, my eyes are drawn there, think I'd have liked him looking into the camera.

Serious little man. I love the light, the focus and the tones. I don't like the logo on the shirt. ....too distracting. A very good entry.

Great lighting here, and I like the expressions on the boy's face and his head melting in the darkness. But his clothes are quite bad IMHO for this portrait. The white stripes on his T-shirtÃs neck always leads my eyes away from his face, as this is the whitest area on your photo. I would have chosen a dark T-shirt, to make his face the brightest area on the photo, it would make this photo excellent, this way it looks a bit strange to me.

I find the face a little flat and the background uninteresting. Less direct lighting and maybe a backlight would help to bring this portrait alive.

Good lighting and composition, but it looks a tad soft.

A lovely, clean, crisp photo. Maybe the choice of strip (football shirt) over which there can be no control(!!) causes a distraction from the face but maybe his team are just as important.
