the strong shadows provide a great deal of interest to me - and the harsh lighting to illuminate the hair on the dog really helps provide it as a focus point |

I gotta say I prefer this version. The re-edited one doesn't have as much "punch" as this one imo. |

Difficult one this after seeing both edits. Hows about using the man from the reedit in this shot? Very bold shadows and I'd probably have put my cam away in this light (so, now I know not to lol) |

Like both - see re edit comment. (You too could spend even more hours...) |

After clicking between the two versions for a while I feel this one has a lot more going for it.
The lighter version is nice, but except for the dandy shadows, not exceptional. In this one here, the stark contrast, the obscured man, and the sharp shadows make it very arty and edgy. Love it. |

I think if you were going to do any editing, I would just consider highlighting the man so his darkness does not blend in with the trees. I love the dark trees and shadows. Looks almost like artwork on the ground. |

Camouflage in a flirty visual way. Playing with the viewer and imbuing a photo composition with a sense of humor, you remind me, leads to always pleasant viewing experiences. Consistency in views and in selecting an image worthy of showing others is an art. You have it. |

I like the shadows and light in this shot. I actually like this version better than the re-edit, this has more mystique to it. |

This is way cool! I really like the shadows from the trees amongst the straight lines of the bench and the tree trunks. j Very cool getting that man and his dog just right in the photo. Well captured and shot. |

Graphic black contrast of the top dark weight of the trunks - slicing into cement, like a broken comb - more detailed, bench & man walking the dog, brought up enough, but still subordinate to the light, all balanced w/the unseen tree canopy creating wonderfully lacy, shadows upon the sidewalk.
A interesting file to start with - I like this rendering. |

Nice capture of shadow and light. I like the shadows that the branches cast but the trees have an over-burned look (I did see D&B's not mentioned in your notes). |

The very strong shadows make this really interesting. I like the simple white border it works very well. How nice to see some sunshine! |

I really like those shadows created on the ground and the of course the person and dog. I think a bit more detail in the deep shadows would make it even more interesting. |

The shadows of the branches on the ground really make this shot stand out. This is a well put together shot. |
