 originally a color macro of the petals of a sunflower

levels
curves
used that bus stop window texture I'm becoming quite fond of, in luminosity mode at 25%; I also opened the Blending Options window for this layer and added a pattern overlay - bark - in luminosity mode at 25% - it gave it an interesting texture, like the photo is printed on painting canvas

then I ran a Diana/Holga action, did a little yellow oversaturation and then flattened those layers and slightly desat the entire shot.

more levels
finished off with an Alien Skin color film filter, settings to taste, resized and applied a slight pass of USM
