Well, I was sad today... not really remorseful, but sad yup yup... I got better :)

Light is bright spot right behind hair, LARGE reflector to camera right just in front of me reflecting a huge 5' light back at my face to even it out :)

PP: the usual :)

A really lovely profile shot. The superb lighting really sets it off.

It's kinda rare to be able to truly capture an emotion in a photograph in a way that the viewer actually feels that emotion. It's even rarer to do this in a self portie... Kudos.

Really lovely: the hair, the lighting, THE SKIN! Sorry to hear you were sad but it certainly gave you a very strong image.

Sad to see you sad, but glad to see you at all. I have only two words to cheer you up: Smile Dammit! :D

JoJo, you're skillz are markedly (marketably?) improved over the time I've seen your work. Not that you ever sucked or anything-- oh please stop crying, I didn't mean.... :P

Ok, Jojo, you know I gotta give you an honest critique. :)

I like the shot, the composition, and the focus. Your skin looks almost a little too smooth, but just stays within the realm of makeup vs. processing (in other words, my tastes run to not to much makeup!). My only nitpick is that I find the bright part of your hair draws my attention away from your face. Maybe a little b righter on your eyes might balance that out?

Unbelieveable skin you have there, very nice on that. I had to look and read and figure out that on your nose are tears? they look like a plastic bit of something? Still an amazingly beautiful image.
