What a story! I wonder why she was hitchhiking? I am always so scared to pick people up because I feel you just never know what type of person they are even if they look un-alarming. I give you a lot of credit for going out of your way to help someone out. |

Very cool story! You're braver than I am, I feel bad when I see people hitch hiking but you just never know who they may be these days! |

great album cover ..
she's the most gorgeous looking woman ..
i'm listening to her track 'from far away' right now .. she's got the most awesome voice .. her appearance and her voice .. stunning ..
i hope you have a wonderful time taking pics when you go see her playing live .. i'm sure you'll find the thought of taking pics of ppl will be far worse than the actual experience .. in fact whenever i do it, and that's a lot, i find its a great opening for beginning conversations with complete strangers when otherwise you would'v passed like ships in the night without even a 'hello' .. its a great way to connect with ppl, a bit like having a dog !!! ..
i'm lucky coz i have both .. the dog and the camera .. altho i dont take our dog out in public that much .. she's too gorgeous .. i'd be afraid that someone would try and steal her away from me .. much like carrying a million dollars in a bag with a sign on it saying 'lots of money' . you'd be begging for trouble .. :) |

Go for it, man. How often do any of us get the opportunity to photograph someone we really admire from afar. Life has put this person in your path. Take her picture. |

What a neat experience, Sean! Thanks for sharing. I will definitely check out her website and her music. And how fun that you "happened" upon her and were able to spend time with her. Excellent!
PS - as for taking photos of people - I really do it all the time, and nobody ever says anything. Just give it a try. |

1. You have nothing to lose
2. You may get some great photos
and
3. If you don't get any photos you're sure to have a nice night out listening to some great music.

Wow, now this is a slice of life. I have no idea why she'd be hitchhiking, but she has quite the voice, I'm listening right now.
So you missed one opportunity - photo of Katie the Hitchhiker. Now you have the chance to take another. Go for the live shot. I'm thinking she's very appreciative of the ride and maybe even give you a few extra shots. The worst that can happen is that she says "no". |
