 this is the husk of a tomatillo - which is actually globular although that might not come across here.

I think you captured the sense of fragility quiet well here. And, for me at least, the contours bring to mind the human breast, which also is fitting for the theme - mother earth, nourishment/caretaking of a fragile planet...

lovely absract of a deteriorating leaf, beautiful details including the water droplets and veins

not clear on the Global Warming issue, as leaves have been rotting for millenia...

You really capture the "fragile" feel with this. The symbolism is clear and the DOF sets up a nice comp. A nice ad photo.
