 Many thanks to my daugther Thorey (her nickname is Lola) for being a great model. I took several photos of her and her beautiful eyes and had some difficulty choosing between them - but this was my final choice.

In the post processing I used hue/saturation, curves, NoiseNinja and USM.

Uderrated, I think - probably not enough EYES in the frame. I love it though! Now that I have that Kinks song stuck in my head. :)

This is great photograph. It has lots of layers, something that is very, very difficult to capture. The best thing is that the picture itself is simple - a portrait highlighting the eyes. Great 'window into the soul' stuff here, lots of story that is further enhanced by then moving one's own eye around the picture. Love the hat. Really love the use of light.
