A pretty boring shot really. I was out around midnight and saw this steel sculpture, and it had lots of reflections, so I decided to waste this weeks submission on it. I was really hoping to get some really nice reflections of the buildings around it, but to get interesting ones i would have to be much higher up on the sculpture which wasn't possible.

There's always next week.

There's something about this photo I really love. That sculpture creates a sense of surrealism, like the law of gravity is being subverted. Somehow it adds something to the introspective feel of the man's pose. I gave it 10 - lisae

two reflections in one shot very cool. Only problem I see are the very bright lights on the left side. I would have tighten the shot up to avoid them. They're distracting. Otherwise nice idea.

Good idea, next time get in close and focus more on the main subject, leave out disturbances. Such a structure has more potential.

nice, long exposures at night rule. i don't care that the lights blow up, i think that's neat.

the lights to either side are really distracting. I really like the angle from which you took the photo

Class shot. I like the idea and I think you have pulled of a first class shot. Having said that, I believe that framing the subject further to the right would have given this shot 10 appeal. I know that the thirds rule isn't broken here, but the negative space to the right of the subject is far too overpowering and kills the primary subject by tugging the attention away, which is in total contrast to the left of the subject (8) Ok (9) then I really do like the shot despite all that.

Nice shot. Would have liked to see the photo cropped a little tighter or the shot taken a little closer. Cool though

This is a really neat shot... I think it would have a lot more impact if the person and the reflection were a larger part of the entire image :) - setzler
