I remember this as newly abandoned when we first moved here. Just went past it again and boy has it ever gone down hill!
Well this decay suits my mood. I just learned that our youngest son (Nick), and his long-time girlfriend, Sarah, are "taking a little break". Currently they live in NC. She's moving back to PA and he's moving to VA. Sounds more than "little" to me. I am sad, very sad. And our grandpuppy Blue will be leaving us too. I had hoped our family was going to expand. SAD.

So sorry to hear about your son and his girlfriend. The building sure captures what you seem to feel as the falling apart of your life. Love the point of view this was taken at. I can see the reflection of the road in the windows, neat.

Cheer up Jeanne. Think on the bright side. You're taking some great pictures. Hope things turn out for the best with Nick

I love the processing on this one. It is sad when love takes a break. The photo really conveys your feelings well.

funny Jeannie, I feel that way too today must be the weather... give em time, it may work out, if not, at least they were clever enough to figure it out before taking any "bigger" steps...it's hard being a mom eh?

nice image, it looks like you jazzed it just abit with editing, but very sharp and the colors are good. I like the composition too with the curve of the barn

How terribly sad. There are so few of these round barns left. There is a great history behind them.

I really like the isolation in this shot, it does give a certain mood!

Hope everything starts looking up for you and your family! ;)
