 totally had this 1980s memory when i was shooting this.



and it's way harder than you'd think to get your eye right in the middle of the magnifying glass when doing a self portrait. Yeah that's right. it's me. with a wig and a beard. don't ask.

i know this won't come close to winning, but I wanted to stand apart from what i'm sure will be a few hundred fabulous eye macros :)

This somehow makes me think of the "Pink Panther" cartoons. Great take on your inspiration shot, and excellent job of processing the image.
