 My annoying beauty, Cosima. She really got on my nerves today - she can be quite insistent. But I love her to bits and pieces, of course.

It was raining a LOT today, but Cosi still wanted to go on the balcony. I was out there shooting rain and the sun came out. So I took a few photos of my dear cat. The sun is shining fiercely on the right side of her face.

I processed this with levels, sharpened, NI and that's it.

OMG if looks could kill !!
i dont know a lot about cats but i believe they are too intelligent to cut off their food supply by using the death stare .. and i'm sure it was just a temporary lapse on her part .. & it was probably only a warning .. like full power could actually kill, but a less intense stare might render you incapable of taking photographs .. maybe that was her intention ... be careful alicia .. be very very careful .. next time you may not be so lucky .. make sure you give her lots and lots of nice treats and yummy dinners .. that might save you from the incredible grief you would suffer if you could no longer take a photograph because your cat got narky .. :)...

cats are the perfect pets
until they become so insistant about what they want to do..but I guess that's part of the personality we can relate to eh?
she is pretty girl..i like her soft black fur you captured very well here & the way she;s giving you the "eye" like , oh go ahead mom take another one!! :)
