Very nice high key. The eye detail is amazing. I love how your mind seems to fill in the details on the left hand side. Very nice soft and serene light, makes the kitty look heavenly. |

This high key is really lovely; and the framing is well chosen - I especially like the bit of black showing in the top corners - complements the whole image without being "too much" (I say that as if I know what "too much" means ;) ). |

Deb
What a wonderful image (and this from a non cat lover). Tremendous high ket shot and the darkness of the eyelids (especially the one on the left) combined with the subtle eye colour and pupil just give a brilliant focal point and add real oopm to the image

Awesomeness! You really do have an eye (pun intended) for the kitties! I love how both eyes are different. |

I have a Holy Terror Cat, myself. Two days ago he tried to turn my left arm into a wind instrument. |

I still love this shot, Deb. That eye hanging out in all the white, the big, sharp eyes. Even the fact his pupils are different because of different amounts of light. |

This is beautiful! The high key works so well with that slightly acid treatment -- because I love those eyes in that sea of white. I'm glad Sir Thomas didn't forget his modeling skills while you were in Iraq :)

I'm not really a fan of the blue-green tint because for me it detracts from the eyes, rather than complementing the color of them. The eyes are so big and beautiful that I'd rather have seen the color of those be the main feature of the pic. I love how it starts as bright white on the left and then the rest of the face slowly enters the picture. |

I love it :)
The lack of detail on his right reminds me of Japanese paintings, where a few simple lines imply a great deal of form. What detail there is on the left lets our mind "fill in the blanks". Great job with a tough model subject! |

Nice. A bit spooky, but totally draws the viewer's eye to the eye. Nice execution. |

I think this is great. I've got a similar entry and I believe that the blown out left side is taking hits in the voting. but i like it. 8 |
