 I went over to my girlfriends place after work and saw this challenge when I logged on. I immediately turned to her and said," Let me take some photos of you.....right now". Luckily for me, she let me.

I have a few outtakes that I like too, but thought this one the best overall. Her eyes "Pop" the most in this one I think which would make it best for the challenge. I didn't go with an eye close up as I'm assuming alot of people will do. To me, the eyes can "speak" as much in a full face shot as they can in an isolated shot. But, perhaps others will not share my thoughts. We'll see. I could have made them stand out even more if this used Advanced Editing, but it does not.

I hope I picked the right one. This is lit with only natural light form a large window directly in front of her.

I gave you a 7. Should have given you more but it's hard to move up the scale when you're clicker is stuck on 2's, 3's and 4's . Nice work.

Black and white simplifies and draws attention to key focus point... the eyes. I'm guessing there were some beautiful colors in the skin, hair and eyes but I like having to guess at them due to B&W. Nicely done.

Really nice shot in b/w with great eyes. Though I reckon the portrait would've been more flattering if either the shot was straight on , without her tilting her head up, or a different lens was used if this was wide angle.
