Today was the perfect day to go outside and build a snowman. I haven't built a snowman in probably 20 years and we had yet to do it as a family; so, today was the day. Cartesia was so excited. This picture shows Taylor starting the first part of the snowman's (snowperson's according to Taylor) body. Cartesia is watching her intently. The girls had a lot of fun as did I and Ken (Ken was taking pictures throughout the process).

There are many aspects I like about this picture. One, the girls interacting nicely with one another (that happens on rare occasions). Two, that Cartesia is looking to her big sister for guidance. Third, the zig zag pattern of footprints that leads through the photograph.

Thank you Ken for helping me see I did have a non-crap picture today.

As far as processing, I used Lucisart and Perfectum. I have used Lucisart before but not Perfectum. I love the detail it brought out in the picture.

Every picture tells a story. The simplicity of this shot is what makes me like it so much. Great processing.
