Challenge: The Eyes Have It! (Basic Editing)

Obviously the subject is wearing contacts, one blue and one green. I actually didn't take the picture for the challenge, I just wanted it for myself but it turned out to be a good picture to play around with.
Using light room (RAW file) I brought down all the colors EXCEPT the blue and Green in the eyes.

Brightness/Contrast
Selective Color
All of the above were used to get as much color out of the face and keep as much in the eyes.

ABOUT DQ:
I didn't realize that lightroom converted all my files to DNG without preserving the NEF. The DNG file doesn't count as an original. I did what I could with the time I had to undelete the CF card, but was too late.
Lesson learned, and I'm glad that it was done BEFORE a ribbon winner. |

| Excellent image Jason. Bummer that you didn't submit the original for some reason. Pretty model, and the sideways glance adds a lot to the "mysterious" element of the shot. |

| Great shot! (Did you really do this within basic editing? If so I'm HIGHLY impressed!) I love the smooth skin and soft focus, yet you didn't lose focus on those gourgeous and intruiging eyes. Outstanding! I can't wait to learn more about how you did it! |
